"Torchlight and darkness" guided tour
On this tour, you can discover the "dark" side of the Westpark area around Bochum's Jahrhunderthalle. This walking tour immerses you in the history of Bochum's steel and coal industry and provides a wealth of interesting information. Learn all about the Jahrhunderthalle compound, the Westpark and life as a worker in the heyday of the Bochumer Verein. With a torch in hand to light the way, the tour guide will provide information about important buildings and historical points of interest during the tour.
This tour is held in darkness on ground that is uneven in places. Sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the current weather conditions are required. Suitable for persons of 14 years and over.
